I live in Dexter and ride on Drum. We have a group we started sanctioned by Fort Drum, the link is in my profile. Some members are members here as well. This is a great group and I enjoy riding out to the capital district to ride with them, so don't think I am trying to steal riders or members. I am just letting you know that there are a few of us up here. PM me with any questions. I know of at least 4 guys who are members here that are in our area, so hopefully they will see this and contact you. If I don't hear from you, good luck in your search.

Odd. Just type in www.mountainwarriors.org (http://www.mountainwarriors.org). It should work fine. A lot of the guys we ride with ride very reserved, so I am sure you would not have a problem keeping up. And if you ride with me, I would never leave anyone behind. That was a big problem in our old group. We welcome all riders on all bikes. Are you a soldier? Our meetings are the first Thursday of the month at Clark Hall. If you aren't a soldier and want to go, let me know and we can get someone to get you on post for the meeting. We are going to be doing regular rides soon. Drop me a line if you are up for it.

We meet the first Thurs. of the month at 6:30 now. As for rides, we meet Thursday nights at Grinder's in Carthage and Sunday mornings at a location to be determined. I was thinking of something like the small parking lot in front of Walmart on Arsenal, or even maybe Super Walmart, as we would draw a lot of attention there to get the word out. Just make sure to check the forums before leaving. We are still in the infancy stage, so the more people you can spread the word to the better. Soon we will be making a few long rides, we're just waiting for block leave to be over for the soldiers. If you would like to come to a meeting, let me know and I can get you on to post. Hope to see you soon!

Hey Duck, good to see ya! That sounds like a good idea. Sorry I haven't been out your way in quite some time. I ended up getting married and having a baby, who is very much a momma's boy, so I don't get out much. I am hoping to get out that way at least once this summer, so maybe we will have to set up a ride out that way. Maybe take a nice day ride through the Adirondack's and then down and back across. I miss all you guys!

Hey hey Billy boy! Glad to see ya! Hope we can catch up soon. I am thinking we will try to get out there within the next month. I'd really love to ride with some guys who are a little more aggressive. I learned so much going to TN/NC with the other group. Our guys like to ride really conservative for the most part. I really want to break in my new bike. I haven't been able to really get a feel for her yet.

I'll definitely ride with you! I heard you like to corner. Corners we got! And we like to grind pegs out here.
You want to come on out to the capital district or meet around Herkimer. I know you have a long way to travel.

Out of town due to my Dad's illness. He needs three surgeries this weekend, so I am going to be tied up. Next weekend or the one after should be a good time to set up a ride. When are you racing Bill?

Well, they just transferred him to Strong Hospital in Rochester, so I will be riding out tomorrow. Anyone want to join me for a trip to Rochester? I'll be going 81 south to the thruway and on out to Rochester. He lives in Locke, NY south of Auburn, north of Ithaca, but he was in Ihaca hospital this morning and he just got transferred this afternoon.

Carthage every Thursday night, 6-6:30 meet up at Grinder's coffee shop, right next to the railroad tracks. I am hoping to start the Sunday rides, meeting at someplace neutral and centrally located, like somewhere in Watertown. I am sure we could use the Rusted Route as a meeting point as well. I'll post up when I know for sure. Hope to see you out there.

As much as I was hoping to be riding a lot more this summer, things have been seeming to keep me down. My Dad is doing a lot better, however, my 92-yr old WWII vet neighbor collapsed with me yesterday, and we spent the entire night in the hospital. I will be caring for him for a while. I still hope to get out even if it is just for a few hours. Trying to ride Sunday for a bit if the weather is nice. Anyone interested?
