Went to Accord Speedway again last night and for the 2nd time in a row Jim from Pro Cycles Cheated like the Cheatin Bastid he is.
He also let his buddy ride his CRF150R in our class. Anyone who ever rode one of theses things know they are absouletly SICK!. Walt could even do go on this bike.
In practice the track was rubbish. slick as snot. we just kinda rode around.
in the heat, the track was some what better but still kinda slick but it was predictable. Off the line I was 2nd, Jim was first and his buddy on the 150 was behind us. On the second lap, the dude on the 150 comes flying into Turn 3 way down low in the snot, all you could see was elbows and assholes flailing . I backed off cause I thought he was going striaght up the bank and take me out. He saved it and motored away.
In the race, I got a terrible start, I was about 4th . The chic was even ahead of me.
I passed her low coming out of T-2. by now Jim and his buddy were battling for 1st. The 150 powered passed Jim and was opening a gap.
I thought he was going to walk away with it. I set my sights on Jim. The track was pretty good in Turns 1 and 2 but Turn 3 was greasy. I found if I down shifted and hit the rear brake a touch I could hang the back end out and scrubb off a lot of speed going to 3 and stay low. I did a similar techinque in turn 1. I was starting to reel in Jim.
I finaly get up to Jims rear tire with two laps to go. Meanwhile Jim had been catch back up to his buddy on the 150. So now all three of us are nose to tail and 2 laps to go.
Coming out of Turn 2 I get up the inside of Jim who is right on the 150. I slide into T-3 stay low, Jim rails around on the outside we are still nose to tail, one lap to go. coming out of T-2 all three of us are handle bar to handle bar down the back shoot.
I try the low side again but come up short. the 150 motors to victory, Jim close second and my self close in third. Best race of the night. IMO.
Thanks to Jim for hooking me up with some nice MX pants and Jeresy :thumbsup
