Road suggestions around Canton-Potsdam

Daughter is going to school up in Potsdam. Looking to ride up next weekend for a visit and wondering about any good riding roads I can hit while I'm up there. Suggestions appreciated!

sorry not familiar with pottsdam. there is however this guy on the forum that calls himself "the routemeister", and has cool roads mapped out, drop him a pm, maybe he can help.

Thanks, yeah I know Dave (Routemeister) from his web site and he lives about 5 minutes away from me here in Rochester. I was hoping to hear from some of the locals to get a find on some of the more technical roads in the area, if there are any.

I really don't know the area very well. Up in that country, it's pretty flat and the roads are rather straight. Not a lot of choices...as far as I know.

Depends on how far you want to ride in a day, the foothills of the Adirondacks is only a ten minute ride from where you will be. That would be my choice, weather this weekend will be A+, and what better place to go for a ride. We are opening a business located directly between Potsdam and Canton on St. Highway 310, so I am familiar with some roads around there. I will look at a map tomorrow to see names and numbers of roads and I will post them for you.
