But I do have a suggestion, remove the cage and sell it on ebay. 95% of the people interested in R1s will instantly have no interest in an R1 that has a cage on it.

it can come off...but im not taking it off unless they ask. and its a 2007 so thats not a bad price. and i can drop some. im taking a huge hit on this bike

Thats what I was saying. I'd pull the cage off and advertise it that way - you'd sell it quicker.
