Pretty solid bike, im the 2nd owner. First owner being my buddy, im sure some of you may remember the bike. Have to switch it up to make it my own, but still keeping the goodies.

2003 Kawasaki 636

-GPR Stabalizer
-905 Cage
-905 Subframe cage
-905 12 Bar
-Yoshi Pipe/chopped
-Streetfighter Headlight
-Dented Tank
-Vortex 48t rear sprocket
-Random bar ends
-Fork sliders

Plans:
-New side fairings but not cut straight down like they were
-Tidy up all wiring
-Different headlight
-Reroute the exhaust to bottom instead out the side
-New tank and either dent it or just leave it stock. Not sure, i truly dont see myself ever sitting on the tank..
-All maintenance IE: Brakes, flush all fluids, oil change etc

flip the clip ons and spread that tank dent back a little further.

Criscone

im not a huge fan of flipped clipons, doesnt feel right. I actually might sell the tank and 12bar. Just roll with a cage/subframe cage and pick up brand new plastics. If i was into more parkin lot stuff id keep it as is, but im not.

lol you bought a stuntbike not to stunt? if youre gonna stay street id get rid of the cage too and just get like some racerails or something. if you go down at street speed with a cage on it increases the chances of your bike turning into a tornado blowing all your parts off.

Criscone

I bought it cause im a huge fan of 636's, the price I paid and the potential it has. Not to 'stunt', sure it has stunt parts on it. I plan on keeping the sub cage, getting a 'race' cage, gearing, stabalizer and calling it a day. Maybe some powdercoating here and there. Thats all :) oh and something with the wheels.

I thought about that, or just have these powdercoated. Ill decide on that once i make my mind up about what color plastics.

well the bike is all stripped down, parts are for sale. Need to clean up some wiring but thats about it. Bike is solid, no cracks/bends/tweaks etc. Also scored a MINT silver tank along with silver tail, cowl and front fender. Now to find sides/front in good condition. Wheels going to the powdercoater shortly.

well i decided to keep the bike streetfighter, just switch it up a bit. After pricing everything to go back to fullfairing i opted out. Its coming along, just brought all the plastics inside to start prepping/cutting etc. Just not sure where to cut on the fairings, i marked it.. What do you guys think? It was straight down before and hated it.

Yah i tried to be a little different from yours but keep as much plastic as possible, its bad enough im stealing your paint idea (maybe) and bought the same headlight!

Criscone

Tail, seat cowl and front fender are in primer. Now if i could just make up my mind on paint.. Tmrw i hope to have it all in primer and squared away for paint early next week.

if price is to much for oem fairing, look at the hong kong ebay plastics ~500 for everything but the lights which you probably already have. they arent the best but it'll look better than streetfighter

Plastics = 550 *shipped, brand new
Headlight = 200 *for a mint headlight, which is what id want
Fairing stay = 200 *probally would pick up a johnny stunt stay or 905
Mirrors = 40 *for both
Side covers = 25?
Racerails - 125
..So im looking at roughly 1,000 bucks. Granted thats to make the bike look 100% stock and mint. Bike would look amazing or...

SF Headlight - 120 shipped
Plastics - 60 *for everything i needed, and sold rest i didnt need
Flip clipons - free
12bar/cage - already have
Gearing - already have
Paint/Misc supplies - 100 (so far)
..So theres under 300 for a legit SF bike. So why spend the other 700 to make it FF?

Anyhow, bike is almost done! Plastics are all done and painted. Just need a couple finishing touches. Awaiting headlight and then the only thing left is to figure out my exhaust.. Does anyone sell an actual short/chopped exhaust that bolts up/exits out the bottom?

FF= resale value, so you can con some noob into buying a stunt bike at KBB.

ive been buying stunt bikes, selling the stunt parts and making them full fairing to sell for awhile now ;) However im not worried about resale value with this bike really cause I plan on keeping it, or for at least this season. Anyhow the plastics are all painted and going to install them once i get done cleaning the rest of the bike. Then its flip the clipons and figure out what im doing with the tank...done!

Criscone

all parts are painted besides the tank and undertail. Just need to clearcoat everything tmrw and then let it sit for a couple days inside to dry. Im just awaiting my SB1 headlight and then find some type of exhaust. done! Oh and i started to flip my clipons. Looking to have everything done before the weekend...........to then stare at it for the next 2+ months lol

knowing my luck your right! Well anyhow the bike is almost all together, just waiting on tank to dry. Ill have new pics shortly. Just cant figure out this damn turn signal issue. I printed out a complete wiring diagram, so ill give that a shot today. But it seems like there two different systems, so idk how the one would affect the other...

figured you'd say that lol. Well id like to at least have rear signals since there in the tail. However im already not running front signals/mirrors plus the SF headlight is DOT approved. So passing inspection is a dream which will never come true as it is. This way is a copper is behind me at least he sees my signals 'work'.
