Friday evenings @ Thatcher?

Does anyone know if they are opening up the snack bar at Thatcher this year and if so, still doing the Friday 6-8 classic car and bike get together?

not sure if they are. the lady that ran it last year isnt running it again i heard. id still like to make that ride again this year though.

Alright, its the first nice day this week so I'm heading up there this afternoon to check it out. I'm going to head home around 5, get the bike and get up there around 6:30 I figure. If anyone else is interested, maybe I'll see you there.

I went up to the Lookout on Friday and talked to operators of the snack bar. They had just got the contract to open this year and should have opened on Saturday (5/28). They will look into starting the Friday car club meet again in a few weeks, but we are welcome to come up whenever we want.

actually i showed bikerchick the buffalo in Schodack the other day. I want to see if she can tell the difference between cow and buffalo poop.

no problem at all i watched her in the mirrors set up all her corners. she probally rode better than i did. i am no pro. spent most of my days on a bike in the sand pits.

we do have a lot of good roads but just be care ful i came up on a pile of gravel on 150 and there is also road work on vanhousen rd east of south schodack heads up and we will have to figgure out where we all live so we can pop in and bust ball if we see eachother out in the yard (NOT RIDING)

There is a boat load of cool rides/scenary down south. As there is uptown... but I wouldn't know...

Indeed, lets get a run up there Friday 6/3. Last year a bunch would meet at Jumpin' Jacks Drive-in in Scotia (Route 5, on the river) around 5:30 and then head up to Thatcher from about 6-8, eat, hang out, etc. Then we usually killed the rest of daylight with a mini ride into Latham (Guptile's) or something before breaking up. Lets do the same tomorrow. I'll be at JJ's by around 5:30 PM and then plan on leaving for Thatcher at 6. Anyone else in???
