Sounds like a good time. What's the pace gonna be like?

Relatively close to legal speeds for all to enjoy. Its a ride not a race.

In general terms, Utica to lake ontaqrio down thru finger lakes towards Watkins Glen towards Ithaca back to Utica.
Other meeting stops could be added if enough interest.

Utica is a bit far for me to go with the time I have that day, but maybe I could catch you for the western/southern part of the ride.

That would work, ken. are you east of Roch?

Yes.

At what point do you head south (farthest westerly point)? Maybe I can catch you there or down in Geneva?

If I go I might be breaking off when it hits Ithaca as there are some mighty fine roads there. The rest is relatively scenic but also relatively boring for myself.

Just did some of this ride last Friday.

Rt.11 to Homer, Rt.41 from Homer to Skaneateles, Rt.20 to Geneva (NYS H.O.G. Rally), Rt. 14 to Rt.17 (I missed the turn on Rt. 224 in Montour Falls), Rt.13 to Dryden, Rt.392 (the best part) to Rt.11 to home.

Yes, very scenic for much of it. No, not very technical.

Will it be a good pace? I'm thinking about riding wit you fellas! I can't ride too slow on my bike as it requires me to sweat and realize how much my wrists & hands go numb... :lol. I guess my question is, this a sportbike ride?

Its a ride for all bikes and if its too slow then you should just just leave the group and ride alone.

And it sounds like you need a better bike that doesnt make your hands and wrist go numb:flipoff
