Welcome! Glad to see that your taking the riding course, it's a very good idea!

Don't forget to mention it to your insurance company because you do get a discount on your insurance. It IS counted a as defensive driving course so insist that they accept it. My company hassled me and I contacted MSF, they gave me a brochure to hand in to the insurance company, and they accepted it after that.
