Michael Timothy Hyla, 21, of the town of Granby, Fulton, NY, died Sunday in Clinton County, PA, from a motorcycle accident. Born in Syracuse, he graduated from J.C. Birdlebough High School, class of 2003. He was a member of the National Honor Society and TRI-M High School Band, and was a senior at S.U.N.Y. Potsdam. He was a wonderful brother and son. He loved his family very much and never let us down. We all miss him and wish he was here with us. A friend has said, "Everyone finds a peaceful place to be before they die," and Michael was doing something he loved. He loved to ride his motorcycle with his need for speed. His favorite saying has always been, "Don't do something if it isn't fun." We know he is in a better place now and would want us all to know how much he loves us.

Surviving: his parents, Timothy and Marianne Hyla, both of Fulton; sisters, Katharine and Elizabeth Hyla of Fulton; stepfather, Richard Roberts of Fulton; maternal grandfather, John Hale of Manlius; paternal grandparents, Bob and Ellen Hyla of Manlius; stepbrothers, Benjamin Roberts of Cincinnati, OH, Casey Roberts and Joseph Roberts of Houston, TX; god parents, Barbara Edwards of Fabius and David Engle of Central Square; aunts, Susan Napierala of Manlius, Laurie Thomas of Syracuse and Margo Gonyea of Standish; uncles, Christopher Hale and John Hale II of Manlius.

Brian R. Myers, of Rawson St., Albany, beloved by family and friends, died suddenly in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, September 16, 2006. Born January 23, 1978 in Syracuse, he was 28 years old. Brian completed his education in the Capital Region and worked as a mechanic, dispatcher and tow truck driver in downtown Albany, where he established many friendships and was well known among the various garages serving the downtown Albany community. Brian was an outgoing and helpful person who was always ready to help someone in need. He was passionate about the people in his life and truly wanted to share their happiness and their pain. Just one week ago, we celebrated his new life with Cindy with a wedding picnic. We will miss his gigantic hugs and the love he brought into our lives for way too short a time.

He is survived by his beloved wife Cindy Ouellette Myers, to whom he gave his heart and soul just nine months ago. He is also survived by his beloved mother Pat Myers, who never stopped believing in him (Michael Tucker), of Latham and father Philip Myers (Carolyn) of New Baltimore; and his sister, Kristine D. Myers of Latham, who both truly wanted only the best for him always. Grandparents included Beverly Barrett, who was Gram to him and resides in Naples, Fla., Lawrence (Poppy) and Peggy (Grandma Peg) Tegiacchi of Guilderland, Robert and Rosie Myers (Grandma and Grandpa) of Cato, N.Y. His devoted and loving godmother is Pamela Roberts and godfather Daniel Roberts; cousins, Patrick, Alyssa, Michael, Kirk, Beth, Lisa and Jarred. He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Scott and Denise Myers, Laura and Richard Durling and special aunt, Debbie Lyda of Fairport N.Y. His best friend was Russell Albertson of New Baltimore. So many friends and family who are not listed here but whose hearts are broken in sadness at his loss. They gave him support, advice and love continuously throughout his life and were a huge part of it. And, of course, his four cats, especially Missy, will miss him very much.
